Senior UX/UI Designer.

FULL TIMEREMOTESENIOR LEVELDESIGN$76.5K–130K/YR

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer based in the United States.

Join a customer-focused organization committed to creating meaningful digital experiences that help people feel confident and protected. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will shape intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital products that balance customer needs with business objectives. You will lead the design process from discovery and research through prototyping, implementation, and continuous improvement. Working closely with UX researchers, marketing specialists, creative teams, developers, and business stakeholders, you will transform complex requirements into clear, seamless customer journeys. You will contribute to scalable design systems and consistent experiences across web and mobile platforms. This remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced designer who combines strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and a strong commitment to user-centered design.

Accountabilities

    • Lead the end-to-end UX design process for complex digital experiences, from initial discovery and concept development through implementation and post-launch optimization.

    • Translate user research, customer behavior insights, business objectives, and technical constraints into effective experience strategies and intuitive design solutions.

    • Map customer journeys and user flows to identify friction points, simplify interactions, and improve the overall digital experience.

    • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions address real customer needs.

    • Create information architecture, sitemaps, process flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed interaction designs that communicate intended functionality and behavior.

    • Partner with UX Research to incorporate customer feedback, usability testing results, and research findings into design decisions.

    • Develop, maintain, and apply reusable design patterns, components, and design system standards to ensure consistency across digital products and platforms.

    • Design responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile, applying accessibility principles and usability best practices throughout the design process.

    • Collaborate with Creative teams to align visual identity, brand expression, and design aesthetics with functional and user experience objectives.

    • Work closely with developers, IT teams, and technology partners to validate feasibility, support implementation, and ensure designs are delivered as intended.

    • Prepare clear UX documentation, design specifications, and implementation guidance for developers and stakeholders.

    • Present design concepts, recommendations, and rationale to internal teams, facilitating constructive discussions and informed decision-making.

    • Analyze digital analytics, customer journey trends, usability findings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.

    • Participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, mentor other designers when appropriate, and conduct visual and functional quality assurance to maintain high design standards.

    • Requirements

      • At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or product design, with a portfolio demonstrating work on complex digital products, websites, or services across web and mobile.

      • A degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

      • Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, interaction design, usability, responsive design, accessibility, and digital experience strategy.

      • Proven ability to translate complex customer challenges, business requirements, and technical constraints into simple, intuitive, and effective user experiences.

      • Hands-on experience creating customer journeys, user flows, information architecture, sitemaps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

      • Experience working with design systems, reusable components, and established digital design patterns to maintain consistency and scalability.

      • Strong working knowledge of modern UX design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma.

      • Experience using user research, digital analytics, usability testing, and customer feedback to guide design decisions and measure experience improvements.

      • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, UX researchers, creative professionals, product teams, and developers throughout the product lifecycle.

      • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions, present recommendations, and document specifications clearly.

      • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

      • A collaborative mindset, openness to feedback and design critique, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

      • Preferred: Experience working in an Agile environment or product-led operating model, with a proven ability to collaborate across product, design, and technology teams.

      • Benefits

        • Competitive annual salary: Targeted base salary ranging from $76,500 to $130,000, depending on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

        • Annual incentive opportunities: Additional incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.

        • Comprehensive healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

        • Mental health support: Mental health benefits and access to an employee assistance program.

        • Retirement and financial wellness: Pension plan, 401(k) with company matching, and contributions to eligible healthcare accounts.

        • Paid time off: Paid leave to support work-life balance and personal needs.

        • Paid parental leave: Benefits to support employees and their families during important life transitions.

        • Additional leave and protection: Short-term disability benefits and a cultural observance day.

        • Wellness rewards: Access to a well-being program that encourages healthy habits and offers cash rewards.
