Job Description: Incumbents are responsible for performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service duties related to the facilitation of the delinquent tax sale. This position provides accurate and timely information to the public regarding delinquent accounts, tax sale procedures, and court proceedings. Key responsibilities include responding to written, telephone, and in-person inquiries regarding delinquent accounts, payment requirements, tax sale procedures, court proceedings and maintenance of parcel records. Incumbent will prepare, present, process, and maintain court-related documents and records associated with the delinquent tax sale. The role also involves entering, updating, verifying, and retrieving information using multiple computerized databases, financial systems, and other specialized software applications Qualifications: High Diploma or GED required and three years of experience in the area of assignment or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly and professionally to the public, and the ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
