The Role: Supervising Fabrication and Production Execution
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the cutting, fabrication, welding, and finishing of equipment to meet company-defined quality standards. You’ll coordinate with multiple departments to ensure production schedules are met and team members are trained and supported. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Maintaining departmental scheduling to ensure on-time delivery
- Prioritizing and delegating fabrication and assembly tasks
- Supervising cutting, fabrication, and welding stages of production
- Participating in weekly production meetings and communicating updates to the team
- Coordinating with the Production Coordinator to ensure plasma cut part accuracy
- Collaborating with the Quality Manager to implement quality standards
- Training new employees and promoting a safe working environment
- Monitoring job clock-ins and minimizing rework
