Associate Manager, New and Emerging Alliances.

FULL TIMEREMOTEENGINEERING

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Manager, New and Emerging Alliances based in the United States.

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Associate Manager to develop and strengthen strategic partnerships within the cybersecurity industry. In this role, you will support the growth of an expanding vendor ecosystem by identifying promising partners, managing onboarding activities, and building strong relationships with emerging technology providers. You will work closely with senior executives and internal stakeholders to align partnership strategies, coordinate go-to-market initiatives, and generate new business opportunities. Taking ownership of a portfolio of newly established alliances, you will help drive partner engagement, revenue growth, and long-term commercial value. You will also contribute to the evolution of partnership processes, performance metrics, and operational strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing organization while developing your expertise in strategic alliances and cybersecurity business development.

Accountabilities:

  • New Vendor Acquisition and Engagement: Manage inbound interest from prospective technology and cybersecurity vendors. Evaluate initial partnership opportunities, guide prospective partners through the qualification process, and communicate onboarding requirements and expectations.
  • Vendor Onboarding and Relationship Management: Oversee the onboarding of newly established vendor partnerships and proactively manage an assigned portfolio. Build strong relationships with key contacts and ensure partners understand the organization's business model, services, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Partnership Strategy Development: Contribute to the design and execution of the broader Vendor Relationship Management strategy, helping establish and strengthen relationships with high-impact cybersecurity technology providers.
  • Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Lead day-to-day relationships with executives at strategic vendor partners. Ensure alignment between internal leadership and external partner go-to-market teams, maintaining strong communication and shared business objectives.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to align vendor technologies with internal cybersecurity services and advisory capabilities. Develop collaborative strategies that generate additional sales pipeline, increase revenue, and expand market opportunities.
  • Vendor Education and Communication: Organize and lead monthly webinars for prospective vendors, managing incoming partnership interest and providing clear information about the evaluation, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Performance Management and KPIs: Help develop and optimize partnership management systems, processes, and performance indicators. Track progress against objectives, communicate results to internal and external stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve partnership effectiveness.
  • Commercial Performance Optimization: Drive measurable value across the vendor ecosystem by improving margins, increasing partner marketing investment, supporting sales growth, expanding pipeline opportunities, and enhancing partner satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure partnership initiatives align with broader commercial objectives and that relevant stakeholders remain informed, engaged, and accountable.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve partnership operations, communication, vendor engagement, and overall relationship management practices.
  • Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, business development, vendor management, sales, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate initiatives and communicate effectively with senior executives, including SVP, EVP, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, monitor, and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) that contribute directly to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating activities across multiple internal and external teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how strategic partnerships contribute to revenue generation, pipeline development, and business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to lead executive-level discussions, deliver presentations, and manage partner expectations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple relationships, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where initiative, accountability, and independent problem-solving are essential.
  • Collaborative mindset and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork, knowledge sharing, and supporting collective business success.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adopt AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, research, communication, and partnership management.
  • Interest in cybersecurity, enterprise technology, and emerging technology partnerships is highly desirable.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel or attend on-site meetings as business needs require.
  • Ability to perform primarily sedentary work, including extended periods of computer use, reading, and digital communication.
  • Ability to perform regular computer-based activities requiring sustained hand and wrist movement and close visual attention.
  • Benefits:

  • Primarily remote working environment within the United States.
  • Comprehensive medical insurance options, including:
  • Zero-deductible PPO plan, with the employer covering 90% of employee premiums and 70% of family premiums.
  • High-deductible health plan with HSA, with the employer covering 100% of employee premiums and 75% of family premiums.
