Client Account Manager.

FULL TIMEREMOTESALES & MARKETING

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Account Manager based in Canada.

The Client Account Manager will serve as a trusted strategic partner to a portfolio of high-value clients, helping them achieve their business objectives through effective use of financial wellness solutions. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understand their priorities, and develop tailored strategies to improve product adoption and account growth. The role combines relationship management, commercial development, and problem-solving, with ownership of client satisfaction and long-term retention. You will lead business reviews, identify opportunities to increase account value, and coordinate internal teams to resolve complex challenges. By sharing client insights and contributing to process improvements, you will help shape the overall customer experience. This is a fully remote opportunity within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Accountabilities

You will manage and develop strategic client relationships, ensuring customers receive measurable value while supporting account retention, adoption, and expansion. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of high-value clients, connecting available solutions to their business objectives and employee needs.

    • Develop account strategies and adoption plans to increase product usage, strengthen engagement, and maximize long-term client value.

    • Identify opportunities for account growth, including upselling relevant products and services.

    • Lead business reviews and strategic planning sessions with key decision-makers to evaluate performance, highlight achievements, and identify future opportunities.

    • Manage complex client concerns, support requests, and escalations by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely resolution.

    • Represent the voice of the customer across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Care teams.

    • Share client feedback, support the testing of new offerings, and contribute to improvements in products and internal processes.

    • Build lasting partnerships that strengthen client retention, maintain healthy accounts, and generate success stories.

    • Share best practices and contribute to team development by maintaining resources, delivering training sessions, and improving workflows.

    • Use data and account performance insights to guide recommendations and support informed client decisions.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate has experience managing client relationships, driving product adoption, and identifying opportunities for account growth. They should combine commercial awareness with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Key qualifications include:

      • At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing role involving relationship management, account development, or helping customers maximize product value.

      • Experience independently managing a portfolio of clients and identifying upselling opportunities.

      • Proven ability to create and execute customer adoption plans that deliver measurable results.

      • Strong ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear, practical recommendations for clients.

      • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

      • Sound judgment and the ability to balance urgent client requests with longer-term account development priorities.

      • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver a positive client experience.

      • Comfort using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and streamline daily workflows.

      • Familiarity with CRM and ticketing platforms such as HubSpot, Intercom, or Jira.

      • A proactive, adaptable mindset and an interest in continuously improving client management practices.

      • Benefits

        • Annual base salary ranging from CAD 67,000 to CAD 106,000, depending on experience and expertise.

        • Commission opportunities.

        • Additional bonus ranging from CAD 3,000 to CAD 4,650.

        • Permanently remote working arrangement, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada.

        • Flexible time-off program, offering up to 5 weeks of vacation.

        • Medical, dental, and vision coverage from the first day of employment.

        • Enhanced mental health coverage and a wellness stipend.

        • Inclusive parental leave top-up.

        • Access to earned wage access.

        • Access to real-time salary market data.

        • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.

        • Supportive and collaborative team culture.
