Commercial Excellence Manager.

FULL TIMEREMOTESALES & MARKETING

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager based in the United States.

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Excellence Manager to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen strategic account development across a national portfolio of high-priority customers. This quota-carrying sales role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing account growth strategies, and building long-term customer partnerships. Working closely with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Directors, and cross-functional teams, you will drive commercial initiatives and improve sales execution across targeted markets. You will play a key role in expanding customer adoption, supporting physician engagement, and establishing successful strategic accounts. This position combines strategic sales leadership, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on customer engagement within the medical device industry. The role offers remote flexibility, with regular travel to key markets, customer meetings, and business events.

Accountabilities

As Commercial Excellence Manager, you will lead strategic account growth, strengthen commercial execution, and support sales teams in achieving national revenue objectives. Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Own and deliver a national revenue quota across a defined portfolio of high-priority strategic accounts throughout the United States.

    • Identify, prioritize, and develop strategic accounts, focusing on high-potential physicians involved in product trials and implant procedures.

    • Partner with Territory Managers and Regional Sales Directors to implement territory strategies and achieve sustainable revenue growth.

    • Execute key commercial initiatives, including Therapy Awareness Events (TAEs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and professional education programs.

    • Establish and develop anchor accounts within each target market, replicating successful commercial practices and growth strategies.

    • Support Territory Managers in overcoming local barriers related to product adoption, conversion, and compliance.

    • Drive sales force performance against key commercial indicators, including Performance to Plan, pipeline management, professional education utilization, Trial to Permanent (Trial to Perm) conversion, and average selling price (ASP) adherence.

    • Ensure consistent execution of patient progress reviews, trial documentation standards, and post-trial follow-up procedures.

    • Promote the effective use of commercial resources and tools, including customer portals, prior authorization processes, BioVantage, and Patient Progress Reports.

    • Monitor account-level objectives, track performance, and contribute to sales forecasting and business planning.

    • Provide sales leadership with timely insights into market dynamics, customer opportunities, competitive developments, and potential risks.

    • Collaborate with marketing, training, clinical, and operations teams to align resources with strategic account requirements.

    • Support quarterly business reviews by delivering actionable recommendations based on field execution, performance data, and customer feedback.

    • Leverage Salesforce, Qlik, Excel, and real-world data platforms to guide commercial strategies and measure results.

    • Identify opportunities to develop new tools and processes that improve sales execution and accelerate business growth.

    • Maintain accurate commercial data and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate is an accomplished sales professional with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets, developing strategic partnerships, and driving commercial performance within a complex, cross-functional organization. You should combine strong analytical capabilities with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The following qualifications and experience are expected:

      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

      • At least 5 years of experience in medical device sales, commercial strategy, or sales leadership, preferably within the neuromodulation industry.

      • Proven success in achieving sales quotas, accelerating revenue growth, and developing strategic customer accounts.

      • Strong understanding of territory management, sales pipelines, forecasting, and commercial performance metrics.

      • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive execution.

      • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

      • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

      • Ability to analyze commercial data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.

      • Experience in neuromodulation, spine, or pain management is preferred.

      • Previous experience in sales training or sales enablement is an advantage.

      • Familiarity with remote monitoring technologies and real-world data utilization is preferred.

      • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to targeted markets, customer engagements, and key business meetings.

      • Benefits

        • Remote working arrangement, with the position based out of Lake Oswego, Oregon.

        • Full-time employment.

        • Competitive compensation associated with a national, quota-carrying commercial role.

        • Opportunity to contribute to strategic business growth within the medical device industry.

        • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, clinical, training, and operations teams.

        • Opportunity to develop strategic partnerships and influence commercial initiatives across the United States.
