We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to help shape and deliver scalable enterprise data platforms and analytics products.
In this role, you will connect business stakeholders, data engineers, and data science teams to turn complex data assets into valuable business solutions.
You will contribute to data product strategy, architecture, and delivery, leveraging cloud-native technologies and modern data architecture patterns.
Working primarily within the AWS ecosystem, you will help build reliable data pipelines, data lakes, analytics solutions, and AI-ready data capabilities.
You will also promote strong standards for data quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
By combining technical expertise with business insight, you will drive adoption, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement across data initiatives.

Accountabilities

You will lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise data products, ensuring that technical solutions address business priorities and create measurable value. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Define the vision, roadmap, and performance indicators for data products, including data pipelines, data lakes, analytics dashboards, and AI/ML data capabilities.

    • Collaborate with business leaders, domain experts, and engineering teams to identify high-impact use cases and translate business needs into technical epics.

    • Prioritize product backlogs according to business value, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.

    • Oversee architecture alignment across AWS data services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, and Bedrock/SageMaker, supporting scalable analytics and generative AI workloads.

    • Partner with Security and Data Governance teams to establish data access controls, privacy compliance, data lineage, and data quality standards.

    • Ensure alignment with applicable privacy regulations and frameworks, including LGPD, GDPR, and HIPAA.

    • Lead agile delivery cycles by defining acceptance criteria, managing user stories, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

    • Monitor data product usage, adoption rates, and return on investment (ROI).

    • Use performance insights and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve data products and maximize business value.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines experience managing data platforms and analytics products with strong knowledge of cloud architecture, agile delivery, and business strategy. The following qualifications are expected:

      • Proven experience managing data platforms, ETL pipelines, or analytics products.

      • Solid understanding of the AWS data ecosystem, including S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, QuickSight, and IAM.

      • Knowledge of cloud-native data architecture patterns such as Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh.

      • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams using agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

      • Proficiency in backlog management tools such as Jira or Linear, with experience defining clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

      • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data visualization tools, enabling direct data analysis and validation of product performance metrics.

      • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business outcomes.

      • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

      • The following qualifications are considered advantages:

        • Databricks Certified Consultant certification at Associate or Professional level.
