The Field Operations Director will provide essential administrative, operational, and communication support to regional leadership within a dynamic undergraduate ministry environment. This part-time, remote position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of daily operations, staff activities, events, and ministry initiatives across the assigned region. The successful candidate will oversee administrative processes, manage schedules and resources, coordinate meetings and conferences, and facilitate communication between staff, students, faculty, and external partners. The role also contributes to organizational effectiveness through financial administration, records management, digital communications, and compliance monitoring. Beyond operational responsibilities, this position supports the development of ministry partnerships and fundraising activities that help sustain the organization's mission. It is an opportunity for an organized, proactive, and faith-driven professional who is passionate about supporting students, building community, and advancing Christian ministry on university campuses.

Accountabilities:

  • Staff and organizational support: Track staff applications, performance reviews, chapter affiliation submissions, annual reports, alumni documentation, and other internal administrative processes.
  • Systems and compliance: Support staff learning and development by managing course enrollment and completion tracking through Workday Learning. Monitor regional activities within enterprise resource planning (ERP) and constituent relationship management (CRM) systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Communication and collaboration: Coordinate information between regional leadership, campus staff, faculty, students, vendors, and other internal teams. Draft correspondence, manage communication workflows, and ensure timely information sharing.

  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Human Resources on recruitment and performance reviews, Accounting on budgets and expenses, Legal on contractual matters, and Advancement on ministry partnership development.
  • Fundraising and partnership development: Build and maintain a personal funding and prayer support network, communicate regularly with current and prospective donors, churches, friends, and family, and raise an agreed-upon portion of the position's salary through personal fundraising.
  • Team leadership: At higher levels, supervise assigned administrative and operational associates or volunteers, providing guidance and supporting effective team coordination.
  • Additional responsibilities: Manage special projects, prepare reports and presentations, oversee office equipment and resources, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Professional experience: Previous experience in administrative support, project management, or event coordination is preferred, with at least two years of relevant experience desirable.
  • Organizational and project management skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate complex schedules, organize events, maintain accurate records, and deliver projects within established deadlines. Project management or event management certification is an advantage.
  • Technical proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Publisher.
