We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales growth and strengthen customer relationships within the Point-of-Care Diagnostics market in Quebec. In this remote role, you will manage an assigned territory, maintain existing business, and identify new opportunities for a specialized portfolio of diagnostic solutions. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to increase product adoption and expand market presence. Combining commercial expertise with an understanding of medical diagnostics, you will develop targeted sales strategies and manage the full sales cycle. You will also collaborate with internal teams, maintain accurate business forecasts, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to healthcare innovation while supporting better medical and economic decision-making.

Accountabilities

You will manage and grow sales across an assigned territory, building strong professional relationships and ensuring effective execution of commercial strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Achieve sales targets through effective sales cycle and territory management, maintaining existing business while securing new opportunities in current and prospective accounts.

    • Identify and develop growth opportunities to increase market penetration for the Point-of-Care Diagnostics product portfolio.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within healthcare and customer accounts.

    • Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies, making effective use of available resources.

    • Manage multiple products and sales cycles while maintaining consistent commercial momentum.

    • Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time, including training modules, expense reports, and sales forecasts.

    • Act as a liaison between customers and relevant internal stakeholders to support business development and customer needs.

    • Comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the organization's quality management system.

    • Travel regularly within the assigned territory, including overnight stays, representing approximately 30–40% of the role according to the detailed job description.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial background with excellent communication skills, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a healthcare or diagnostics environment. The following qualifications and competencies are expected:

      • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science, Chemistry, or a medical field.

      • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

      • Ability to manage multiple products and sales cycles while consistently progressing toward commercial targets.

      • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and accurately.

      • Proven ability to establish and develop effective interpersonal and professional relationships.

      • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct authority.

      • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

      • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving capabilities, analytical thinking, and sound judgment.

      • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities.

      • Ability to assess alternatives, develop practical solutions, and prepare contingency plans.

      • Confidence in public speaking and experience presenting information to executive-level stakeholders.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM databases.

      • Strong English communication skills, as approximately 50% of professional interactions may involve stakeholders and colleagues outside Quebec and Canada.

      • Benefits

        • Annual base salary ranging from CAD 87,000 to CAD 127,600.

        • Remote working arrangement in Quebec, Canada.

        • Career development opportunities within an international healthcare organization.

        • Opportunities to grow professionally and build a long-term career.
