Own procurement governance, metrics, and operating cadence, including savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance, contract coverage, risk, continuity, and team capability; communicate performance and trade-offs clearly to executive stakeholders. Embed Procurement early in product development and manufacturing change processes to influence design-for-supply, supplier selection, should-cost, tooling, capacity, quality readiness, and launch execution. Develop the long-range procurement roadmap, organization design, systems capability, and talent pipeline required to support sustained company growth and increasing operational complexity.
