SUMMARY Assists workers engaged in pre-fabrication/assembly of plumbing modules and piping in a shop environment. Other duties would include working on sheet metal and piping. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assemble plumbing modules Assemble sheet metal duct together. Assist in the pipefitting area Cutting, grinding, drilling, etc by using power tools Loads, stacks, bands, materials to be shipped Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Performs other routine duties. Need to demonstrate proper use and care of hand tools and equipment. May perform other routine duties as directed by supervisory/lead personnel. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
