Key Areas of Responsibilities Ensure that all trade details are pre-matched prior to settlement, minimizing the risk of discrepancies Implement and adhere to fails management system to promptly address and resolve any discrepancies encountered during the settlement process Supervise the entire settlements process to ensure timely and precise execution, adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards Conduct thorough reconciliations to validate the integrity of financial records, swiftly identifying and addressing any discrepancies Proactively identify and implement opportunities for efficiency enhancements in settlement processes, focusing on streamlining operations and lowering operational costs Manage the Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) collateral processes to ensure proper handling and compliance with regulatory requirements Efficiently manage the conversion processes for American Depositary Receipts (ADR) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDR), ensuring timely execution and compliance Actively participate in project initiatives and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that new systems, processes, and tools align with business requirements and enhance operational effectiveness Requirements Graduate with at least 5 years of experience in the securities, banking, or a related industry Should have team handling experience for at-least 2 years Strong knowledge of US Equities, DTC workflow, 23*5 market operations including relevant practices and trends. Knowledge of European, Asian equity and fixed income products will be an added advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with senior management Candidate should be open to work in Asia / EU / US shifts depending on work requirement.
